Trouble In Paradise

It's been a rough couple of weeks. There is, indeed, trouble in paradise.

Not something I'd freely share here, but suffice to say, it really hadn't been easy. Not easy when you and your partner cannot come to a compromise without either party developing resentment towards the other and not when you cannot even agree to disagree. So what are you going to do when both sides can't even back down?

It's all hell break loose.

I'm putting this aside for now; I'm letting it go. It's not something that can be resolved immediately, but I definitely cannot go on like this. We cannot go on like this.

I need a good pick-me-up. Thank goodness I'm meeting up with the girls this evening, even if it's only going to be a short while. I need me a drink, and fast.

Oh I can so relate, darl, trust me. :|

A stiff drink helps. Or a huge sinful meal plus a full dessert plate.

You know, I used to believe that married couples never fight. And though I'm not married, I always, well, not always, but I try to imagine what it would be like if I was.

I would wonder whether my other half would argue with me on specific issues, or whether he would, you know, let me win.

But I guess truth is, married people do argue.

Hang on there, babe.

*hugs*

Friends argue, courting couples argue...of course married couples argue. Most important thing is to come to a landing. It definitely takes time (and space), but I think as long as both parties are committed to resolve it, there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Hang in there, cuzzy. Arguments do happen with someone whom you love. It's good to take a break for a short while. I'm just an email away if you need me ;) Take care.
